Dr. Shan Guo earned her medical degree from Xiangya School of Medicine in China. She completed an internal medicine residency at St. Vincent's Medical Center of the University of Connecticut and a hematology/oncology fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. Dr. Guo speaks English and Mandarin.
After fellowship, she became an assistant professor at the UT Medical School oncology division, caring for patients at Memorial Hermann Hospital in the Medical Center for 4 years.
Board certified in medical oncology, hematology and internal medicine, Dr. Guo has been in practice over 10 years treating patients. She was honored with the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN) Fellows Award in 2010.
Dr. Guo joined Millennium Physicians in 2016 and treats patients with various types of cancer and hematological conditions. Known for her willingness to work with patients and their families, she delivers compassionate, understanding care.
