Thanks to the advancements in medicine, technology, cancer prevention, early detection, treatment and follow-up care, there has been an increase in cancer survival. According to the National Cancer Survivors Day Foundation (NCSD Foundation), more than 14.5 million people in America have survived cancer!

Sunday, June 5, 2016 marks the 29th Annual National Cancer Survivors Day. On this day, we celebrate those who have fought and survived cancer. May this day be an inspiration for those who have recently been diagnosed as well as those who are currently battling.

If you or someone close to you is battling cancer, please visit the NCSD Foundation website for valuable resources on cancer survivorship.
